Description

This module introduces the fundamentals of engineering materials

which includes the structure of materials, mechanical and physical

properties of materials, failure of materials, microstructure analysis,

and phase diagram, strengthening of metal alloys by heat treatment,

the applications and current developments of polymer, ceramics,

composites and advanced materials.
