Rita Salwany Tan Sri Dato Md Yazid a 60 year old lecturer cum Trainer from
Kuala Lumpur. Presently, I am attached to Angkasa Training Centre, Open
University, YTL International Hotel Management and University Kuala Lumpur. The
programs are for full time students as well as program for short courses for adult
learning under University Pahang, UTM and UUM. Over the week end, I will be
invited to conduct lectures cum training for the adult working people in
various disciplines and courses specializing in Behavioral Development which are
Business Management, HR and communication subjects as stated in my Cv.
I was a Part- time Lecturer/Trainer with
UMCCed in 2011 (Modules: Human Resource Management ang Organization Behavior). Occasionally,
I am a Speaker, for Industrial Seminars conducted by the Training Centre at
Grand Season Hotel based at the city centre where my specialization will be on
Human Resource and Strategic Management (Business Studies). Where these are the
programs for Diploma, Degree and Master’s level. I have taught the degree
students in the Business School in University Technology Malaysia where the modules
were Performance Management, Negotiation Techniques and Public Relation
Management where the Head of Department was Dr Prof Nik Hasna.
As you may have acknowledged through my
particulars, I have experiences in industry such as Human Resource, Production,
Training, and Education.
My belief and objective is to seek a career
in the fields concerned. The field of Management Studies, Communication, Business
Administration and Human Resources have always been my specialization and throughout
my studies in United Kingdom for six years as well as my exposure and
experiences in all the industries that I have worked for, it has made me to realized
the important tools to adapt and practice so as to enable us to create a
learning culture and environment that are positive, interesting, creative,
conducive and of course knowledgeable.
I was a full-time lecturer attached to College
University Linton in Mantin, Negeri Sembilan in the faculty of Business and
Management. My specializations were focused in modules such as Human Resources, Organizational
Behavior, Business Communication and Introduction to Business as well as other
business related modules.
These modules and programs are geared to lead
students who come from various cultures and countries to be able to introduce
them to the business world and the opportunity, and threats of the markets.
Through research, it enhances the knowledge, skills, abilities and talent of
individuals or students to be prepared to be the future executives, leaders and
entrepreneur of tomorrow.
I have vast experiences in lecturing approximately 20 years of teaching experiences in the academic field where my objective is to impart my knowledge in Management Studies , Communication and Human Resource Management where it has indeed
contributed positively in developing a knowledge management and exposures with
students who comes from all walks of life and cultures including the adult
learners where most of the participants are involved in the continuous education
concepts as part timers of the programme.
Besides that, I was also assigned as a Counselor on a Part –time basis whereby my job role is to coordinate counseling sessions, activities for the students in the colleges and university with the objective to lead people who were in needs, so as to resolve intrapersonal and interpersonal conflicts in the institution concerned.
In additional, by lecturing, coaching and
mentoring foreign students from various countries and conducted research it has
indeed given me some valuable assets in innovating my skills and abilities in
the education and research paradigm.
The culture should not merely only to give
knowledge but to shift paradigm in their beliefs, values and how they perceived
in the learning process as an adventure to match to their visions.
Besides these, I have strong beliefs in
dedicating in the international career in supporting my dreams and ambition, also
in supporting the global causes.
I uphold the principles and core values i.e. integrity, professionalism and efficiency as well as due respect for diversity in any task I undertake. The right values, norms and standard must be established here to achieve our objective.
