Airin Abdul Ghani has served Universiti Malaysia Pahang as a lecturer since 2006. She graduated in 1996 in Bachelor Science of Business Administration majoring in Tourism Management at the University of Colorado at Boulder in Colorado, US. Returning home she worked in the hospitality industry. Even while studying, she had working experiences in the travel and tour companies, hotels and resorts, fine dining restaurants, and foodservice catering companies. She studied Diploma in Tourism Management at Universiti Technology MARA. She then furthers her study in Master of Business Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia and graduated in 2003. Airin Abdul Ghani started her academic career in 1998. Began with teaching English for Academic purposes for Matriculation programs for three years, she then taught business management courses such as marketing, business communication, management, strategic management, project management for the diploma programs, and taught hospitality courses at Kolej ShahPutra Kuantan. Currently serving at Faculty of Industrial Management, she teaches courses include Marketing, Organizational Behaviour, Principle of Management, Strategic Management, Service Management, and Service Marketing for Bachelor of Industrial Technology Management, Bachelor of Project Management, and Bachelor of Business Engineering programs. She also teaches Managing Business Intelligence and Marketing Intelligence & Strategy courses for a Master's degree. Her research is focused on strategic marketing and service management.
