Module Synopsis: This module introduces force vector algebra, equilibrium of forces on particle, equilibrium of force on single rigid body force analysis on simple frames and machine structures (multi-rigid bodies) and problem involving dry friction.
Module Course Outcome:
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
CO 1: Solve equilibrium of forces on particle and rigid body problems.
CO 2: Solve equilibrium of forces on structure problems.
CO 3: Solve problem involving dry friction.
CO 4: Solve problem on centroid and moment of inertia.
